What Led to the incident?

The DCP confirmed:

The preliminary investigation has revealed that the boy’s father, the complainant, owns seven to eight transport vehicles and had employed two drivers — the accused and Wasim. Both drivers had an argument, after which Wasim informed the employer. Angered by this, the accused kidnapped and killed the employer’s son.

According to the police, the murder was an act of revenge stemming from a dispute between the drivers. Prior to the crime, the accused reportedly had a heated altercation with another driver, Wasim. Both men were allegedly intoxicated at the time of the argument. Following the confrontation, Wasim complained to their employer, after which the driver was reprimanded and allegedly slapped. Enraged and seeking retaliation, the accused is believed to have kidnapped his employer’s five-year-old son and brutally murdered him.
