Jalen Williams played like a man possessed.
The Thunders played like a team on a mission
Alongside Williams, the unstoppable Shai Gilgeous-Alexander displayed his brilliance on the court. Continuing the form from previous games, SGA was on the charge in this game too. He had his fingerprints on every possession-he sliced through the traps, manipulated the defender,s and he stood tall and whole arena rose with him. Indiana Pacers fought hard but fell short
Pacers tried and did everything but flip the scoreboard. Pascal Siakam with another hard-fought, solid performance with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. He threw all his experience into the game, but it wasnât enough. Once again off the bench, T.J. McConnell willed himself forward with nothing but heart, scoring 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. Other warriors of the team also contributed pretty well, including Myles Turner with 13 points and Aaron Nesmith with 14 points stood strong in the game 5 of the NBA Finals 2025 against the Thunder.

The Haliburton injury haunts the Pacers in the Finals
The game was poised, but Thunders fell short in few departments and the real concern here was the injury of Tyrese Haliburton, a man who has always stood in front at clutch point for the Pacers but in this game, he just couldnât help it because of the calf injury he has been dealing with. Hero Haliburton scored only 4 points that too from free throws Field Points. This listed him in an unwanted record list. Tyrese Haliburton became the first All-NBA player after Slater Martin in the last 67 years who did something similar in 1958.

This game put this Finals series at a very crucial stage because this series has seen a team coming back right after a loss. Now with OKC having the lead of 3-2, can we see yet another strong comeback from the Indiana Pacers, or will the OKC Thunder put their hands on the trophy in the next game? One thing is for sure: the next game would be a treat to watch for every basketball fan.
