About the Investigations on Missing Cases

Sources confirm that local enquiries and CCTV footage played a crucial role in tracing the kidnappers. After the complaints were lodged, prompt action was taken, which proved vital in locating the missing persons. Search operations were conducted using photographs, mainly at public places such as bus stands and railway stations, while bus and taxi drivers as well as local residents were questioned. The police claim that these enquiries, along with evidence and interrogations, helped reunite 118 missing people who had gone missing in February.
