Pure collective team performance to get the victory

This game gave a chance for another star to shine in the finals spotlight with a tremendous performance- Obi Toppins. A display of mature performance and showed the world his ability to stand strong in big games by scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. When he started with back-to-back 3Ps, everyone knew something was going to happen. Following Toppins’ class was Andrew Nembhard by scoring 17 points and showcased some incredible shots.

Tyrese Haliburton gave just enough to the team after being injured in the previous game, scoring 14 points and 5 assists in this one. He was not as electric as he looks in every game, but he certainly was capable of putting on a calculated, strategic, and courageous play. Pascal Siakam has been a pillar of consistency throughout the series for the Pacers, and he continued that form by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds-a double-double performance by him in this important match.

Thunder looked a bit lost in the game

Oklahoma City Thunder could not get hold of the game like they did in previous game. Their gameplay was very different compared to other games in this series. Their top performer, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, could only score 21 points, which is only 2nd time that SGA has failed to score 30+ points in this NBA Finals series. Jalen Williams, the hero of the last game, could only bag 16 points in this game against the Pacers.

This game was an opportunity for the Thunders to wipe the game and win their first championship since 1979, but they looked like they were falling apart; their offence seemed as if five players were reading different scripts. The momentum a team carries plays an essential role in this game, and OKC would be really disappointed with their performance in this game.

Win or regret, no middle ground

Now that the series has been tied by the Pacers at 3-3, it all comes down to the final game. These 48 minutes shall decide who will take the trophy home. The impressive thing here is that Pacers have now held OKC under 100 points 3 times in 6 games-something that no other team has been able to do against the Thunders in the whole season. This shows how the Pacers have stormed in on the way to winning the title.

Both champs ready to face each other in one last game.

Going into the final game of the NBA Finals 2025, one thing is certain that it is going to be a blockbuster game for everyone witnessing it. The two teams that have surprised everyone with their performance have come down to “One Final Step.”
