A 15-year-old teenager in west Delhi’s Nangloi was stabbed to death by three minors over his friendship with a female schoolmate. The three accused were arrested within a few hours of the incident.

Teen Killed in West Delhi
A Class 9 student was stabbed to death on Thursday after three boys confronted him over his friendship with a female schoolmate. Investigation revealed that the incident occurred in the afternoon while the teenager was returning home from school with his friends and that girl.
Three boys initially intercepted the teenager and his friends. They had a brief fight, after which the teenager headed back home. However, 15 to 20 minutes later, the three accused intercepted them again and picked another quarrel over the deceased’s friendship with the girl. The boys pulled out a knife, stabbed the victim in the thigh, and left the crime scene.

The wound measured around 3 by 1.5 inches on his right thigh. He succumbed to excessive blood loss while undergoing treatment. The knife has not yet been recovered. A complaint was registered and further investigation is ongoing, while the three accused have been arrested. The body was handed over to the victim's family after the post-mortem on Friday.

Police Statement on Teenager's Murder
Vikram Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer), said:
"Around 1:51 PM, we received information from Sonia Hospital regarding the admission of a 15-year-old boy. A team reached the hospital and found the boy suffering from a stab wound on his right thigh. He died from excessive blood loss. Teams launched an investigation and detained all three juveniles."
Further investigation is underway.
