Bhoot Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Tabu, which featured on OTT on April 17, 2026 has shown steady growth at the box office. While a slight drop was seen earlier, the horror comedy film has earned a total of ₹121.40 crores.

Notably, Bhoot Bangla has surpassed Akshay Kumar’s other recent films in box office collections, including Kesari Chapter 2, Jolly LLB 3, and Skyforce. However, it has not yet surpassed the profits of Housefull 5, which was released last year

Bhoot Bangla Earns a Steady Profit After a Dip

The box office performance of Bhoot Bangla suggests a mixed financial outcome, balancing between profit and loss. After a strong Week 1 collection of Rs 84.40 crore, the film maintained steady earnings in its second week, collecting Rs 5.75 crore on Day 8, rising to Rs 10.75 crore on Day 9, and further to Rs 12.50 crore on Day 10, taking the India net total to Rs 113.40 crore.

Overseas, the film added Rs 3 crore on Day 10, contributing to a total of Rs 44.50 crore and pushing the worldwide gross to Rs 179.48 crore. While the consistent collections indicate the film is moving toward profitability, the fluctuating daily numbers also hint at slowing momentum, raising questions about how much overall profit it will ultimately secure versus the risk of reduced returns.
